I prefer to read the newspaper rather than to watch television. The reason is the newspaper only gives right information. Sometimes television gives us wrong information and confuses people, but the newspaper doesn't. Also the newspaper gives us some skills. We can learn skills like logic skills or reading skills through the newspaper. But while we watching television, we can learn none of the skills. For these reasons, I prefer to read the newspaper rather than to watch television.

The man agrees with the announcement. He thinks that housing fee was burden for the student. The housing fee was rising year by year. He thinks that if the all students live in the dormitory, he can decrease the pay on the dormitory. Also the woman student worries about she is living home, but he says that there will be some exception for that students. Also he says that he will enjoy the extracurricular activities. He says that eventhough he lives in the dormitory, he can't enjoy the extracurricular activities cause everyone doesn't do that.....For those reasons, he is quite happy about that announcement.

The reading says that sampling error is the error in the survey or scientific study~(I couldn't listen). The reading talks about two examples of the sampling error. First one is the average fish size in the lake. First the researcher caught some fish but the net was too big to get small ones. So the data the researcher got about the average fish size is not accurate. The second one is about the political research. The research was done afternoon. So the research was mostly done by the housingwives. So it was done by particular people. So the data from the research is not accurate.
